What are your Wembley plans?

For those of us not able to make it to Wembley, but will (foolishly) be in London, what are the best pubs to watch City these days (if any at all, given the Rag infestation)?

I know the Strand used to be a safe harbour, and there was a group of blues that would meet at the Half Moon in Herne Hill (I went some years back and it was a decent time), but not sure those are still current.

Calling all blues living in exile...
Hi
green man , euston rooad, near Great Portland St will be Blue.

Into London for about 12, head to Travelodge in King's Cross (£32 for a twin room), dump bags then get on it. Drinking near Baker Street before tube to Wembley, straight into Camden afterwards for more drinking and dancing into the early hours, found a pub last time playing vinyl 45's 'til about 3 in the morning. Carnaby St Monday morning for some new /// trainers for the collection then train home. Sorted.
Hi Mate
what is the pub in Camden called, sounds good.
thanks

Leave about 8-30, picking up in Whitefield then Ashton and Denton.
Then onto a greasy spoon near Warwick (sorry cousins Les, Andy and Max - no meet up at Warwick services) then through Rickmansworth and Pinner and parking on someone's drive about 10-15 minutes walk from Wembley.

Tested today - Watkins Folly, nice modern Sports Bar - good service, good menu, food also looked good, sold lagers and Guinness, no bitter. Toilets - flashy lighting and clean.

Close by -
- Wembley Tandoori ( 4 star trip advisor) cold and smelly, walked in then walked out
- Spice of India - excellent food, good price, good service. Open 1200 til midnight tomorrow.

All irrelevant probably. Match day routine kicks in Tommorow.

We went in a great pub last time night before game. Went back match day all chairs and tables moved out so standing only and all draught turned off and cans of carlsberg at a fiver a time

Got into the Wembley Travelodge, right on the Wembley central station about 4pm yesterday, saw a large group of blues checking in.

A mate of mine from years ago got in touch after travelling up from Cornwall he was in the torch pub with his lady friend so I went to meet them. The pub is pretty big with a few screens showing sports, no music on when we were in. The bitter was off, cloudy and undrinkable so went on the red wine as I had mullered a bottle on the train down.

I think tomorrow they move a lot of the tables and chairs to pack more in. The barmaid mentioned something about the lower bar being open tomorrow as well and a barbeque on but I didn't get a lot of detail. As pubs go not too bad but the gents toilets were dirty and extremely smelly, you could smell.them about thirty feet inside the pub.

After a long day we were all knackered by about 10pm so walked back to the hotel. I left them at the Ibis and walked the rest on my own. Plenty of people about but it felt a little moody, lots of young lads in black hooded coats so I didn't hang about. Tomorrow should be more blue's around I guess.

Woke up at 2am wide awake so browsing for a bit then try and catch dome sleep.

Yes had a laugh because the company was good but if it wasn't for the football it wouldn't be on my to visit list lol! At least I am seconds from the tube station to get the hell out of there Monday morning.

Am 49 years old and couldn't sleep last night.
Wembley wembley wembley going round and round in my head.
I will never get bored of making a wembley final.
It use to be just a dream but now it's our second home.
Come on CITY.
