DRY TRAIN UPDATE

Just been up to the Virgin desk at Piccaddilly to clear up something with our booking as couldn't get any sense out of the Trainline call centre.

According to the Virgin desk, trains out of Manchester on Sunday aren't dry, which I thought would be the case, as I went to the LC final on the chuffer last year and there was plenty of booze on board.

In terms of trains back, it's the station's call, so who knows.

Chin chin!

Thank you good sir.

I will be able to sleep easy Saturday night now as I'm on the 8:05 and was worried it would be dry

theyre supposed to give at least 48 hours notice if a train is going to be dry. They should be telling people tomorrow.

I sent a message to their twitter account because they hadn't put out the info and wanted to know whether I was getting beer when shopping tonight or minatures to stick down me grundies and also thought the same about a few days notice, should be aware by now, said they were doing it saturday

****s! Should direct them to the page on their own site that says they will always give at least 48 hours' notice and see what they have to say.

As th only team traveling down from up north, there is no reason for dry trains, maybe they will just do rlthe evwning returns like the league cup
