Just finished The Sea Wolves, A History Of The Viking’s by Lars Brownworth.

It’s factual but reads like a novel. Easy read with plenty of gore but also very informative.

Six days of war: June 1967 and the making of the modern Middle East by Michael Oren, interesting insight in the build up and the Arab Israelis 6 day war

Also the Harry Palmer quartet of books by Len Deighton which are to my surprise a very good read.

Ha ha. It’s one of those books where you carry on reading thinking there will be a conclusion. I suspect it will just be an open ending with no explanation

The Sopranos Sessions - every episode broken down with loads of stuff I had never noticed before, plus interviews with cast and writers etc. Excellent read.

what’s everyone reading at the moment . I’m reading “ I heard you paint houses” by Charles Brandt. It’s rhe story of frank Sheeran the guy who killed jimmy Hoffa apparently. Very good read

Totally enjoyed the book and can’t wait for the film!
