What boots do you have? Anything new?

These are the business. Had a pair of these with knock-in studs that you got from the cobbler. If you didn't knock 'em in properly, you'd find that the sole at the end of the match was minus half the studs you started off with, and if you didn't fancy doing some archaeology on the pitch after the match, the only real option was to 'limp' through the next match, as the studs invariably disappeared from only one boot. Unless you could get back to the cobblers.

Those lists of 19th, 20th and 21st century inventions that changed the world, never included screw-in studs. People never understood the level you got to with screw in studs.

Football was like playing in ice-skating boots without the blades. Crippling. I've still got the tin of dubbin. Come on, own up, who doesn't know what dubbin is?

got the talaria version of these in sg basically the same but without the lace cover, (not a fan of it)

great for passing and accurate powerful shots, but then again it might just be me
yeah i've got the talaria version, quite comfortable and light weight, perfect for me as a striker/winger :)

I very nearly got those in black with gold stripes! Very nice boots but wanted something a bit more lightweight
They have them in brown aswell now.

Yeah i saw them in brown but i wasn't very keen to be honest. I've always kept it pretty retro with boots i.e black with a bit of colour. Brown is abit too retro for me lol
