Never has a song been less representative of a band. Europe have released a string of great albums that sound very lttle like Final Countdown.
That said I don't actually mind the song.

I was still in "BagDad" in 1981. I was 18 when it got a revival in 2009 just as I was beginning university. As such, those first piano keys will always remind me of freshers week and the week long cycle of girls crying at being away from home, bouncers trying to pick up said girls, and lads called Eddie and Jordan in stripey fucking tops from Oxfordshire calling each other Zulu and talking about bants.
That was therapeutic.
