I am hoping to have around 300 of the small bags done for the CL game and hand them out around 307/8/9 I will post something on here next week. I don't think I will be able to repeat the Derby Day one as I understand the club are looking at something on the night. But that wouldn't stop may be a EAST Stand level 2 and 3 effort. What do you think. Thinking more of the camara views etc.

I sit just to the right of the 2nd entrance 308, the Flag is mine I mentioned and normally hang it there about 30 mins before the game. I laid out 250 bags at the reading FAC game and to be honest once one bag gets opened and thrown they all follow suit. I would love 307/8/9 to become the new 'idea section' of the ground and get some ideas off the 'ground' If you are interested in arranging something at the CL game on 14th I am more then happy to start it.

Not at all mate, you can buy A4 paper from Tesco fo £2, cut it into 3 lengths and then cut across about 1 cm. I cut up 30 slabs for the derby 2 years ago. The streamers people were buying off e-bay etc for 2 for 99p.
The club did provide me with support as well on that occasion but for the CL I WOULD LIKE THE FANS TO GET THIS GOING.

All I do is fill the sandwiche bags you buy from Tesco for £1.50 for 50, fill them with an handfull of the paper and hand them around where you sit. Its amazing when you throw it how far and wide it goes.

If it is to be done again we need a lot more ticker tape to be used to have the full effect.

I did all the ticker tape in the Colin Bell second tier for the rags game ( we met up outside me and CITY FOR LIFE), i cut up 12 slabs at about a quid a slab from staples. They sell a powder blue as well as white. We had a great effect around CB 231/232/230 but everyone got premature and fired it off to early, still brilliant though.
So what did i learn ?

You need to make huge amounts like i did and if you want it to be seen from distance IT DEFFO NEEDS TO BE A4 cut into three (3) strips in lengh but NO more than 6 times across, you need it to be 2 or 3 cms deep so it flutters.
Hand out tons and tons of the stuff, Its better huge ammount in a smaller area than a thin spread.
Sorry but little butty bags City for life aint gonna cut it as you know now, big carrier bags giving out big handfulls is the only way!!
