The whole “Liverpool is a twat of a city and full of cunts” is disappointing 24/7. It’s not such a bad place at all.

Several very good friends are Scousers and are modest lads. Whilst it has its problems, the locals can be very welcoming and full of humour.

Whilst I’d say Liverpool (the City) has more than its fair share of cunts, there are some good ones for sure. It’s those fuckers south of the Mersey, who think they’re not scousers, and like to think they’re posh who are probably worse on the whole. Imagine living between Liverpool and Rhyl and somehow looking down on people? Talk about lack of self awareness.

I agree. Never really ventured in there until recently when I had COVID for the first time. Was pretty unwell and was forced into the spare room and felt pretty away from things, so thought the matchday threat would help. It's a reactionary, fatalistic (not even just pessimistic!) mess of random people behaving like brats.

I also dislike the occasional bust up we see here sometimes. I know it's bound to happen but I just find it weird to be having verbals that carry on with a stranger, more so when someone is evidently on the lookout to start something. Happened to me a couple of times and I just ignore and don't even give them the time. But that's not just bluemoon, it's what the internet has become.

I once had a heated argument with an ex over email, back in the early days of aol and Hotmail etc, and we broke up without actually seeing each other or sharing a word in person for about 2 months. Unfortunately for her, I was in Thailand at the time.
