Wasn’t anywhere as regular attender as you, mate; loved Hippo’s in Middleton far too much, but still loved it in there on the couple of occasions I went. So glad I got to experience Shelley’s. A truly amazing club at an incredible time to go clubbing.

The woman that used to stalk me around Morrisons on a Sunday morning, a few years ago.
I didn't fancy her, but it didn't half massage my ego, knowing that I was 50 (at the time), and a stranger fancied me. Happy days.

That innocent excitement of being young, when everything was an adventure and anything seemed possible. Christmas as a kid when you believed father Christmas existed, the sheer joy of waking up to feel the weight of the presents on the end of your bed. The closest to that Christmas feeling I ever felt as an adult was pay off day on a ship. After being away from the UK and home and working seven days a week for 4-6 months, to be showered and packed watching your reliefs come onboard, then sitting on the coach on the way to the airport finally free was magical.
