Ade's deal to go to Spurs seems to be dragging its heals.

Rumors persist about Dzeko going, especially with him not being played in the friendlies.

If Dzeko goes, and we get fed up with Levy's attempts to get Ade for close to nothing, why not swap Ade for Carrol and throw in a few quid. I think Rodgers would be open to Ade, as on his day, he can hold the ball and pass it.

Im not dzeko's biggest fan but he is streets ahead of carroll in every aspect of the game......Carrols movememnt off the ball is absolutely woeful, his first touch appalling and his overall technical ability decidedly average for a premiership player

ade is a far far superior player as well...he just doesnt get on with RM (he liked Redknapp as its well known that redknapp is a friendly, arm round the shoulder type of manager but not the greatest at tactics and Im willing to bet that his training sessions are a lot more easy as well).....

Ive always said that id be more than happy to keep the 4 strikers we have....its options in midfield and at CB that i thikn we need (though again i wouldnt split up the pairing of VK and JL....but i watched savic again last night and again he is poor...we cannt afford to rely on him)

It's a great idea. We may as well put a cheeky bid in for Downing too as those two linking up could be lethal. I think their stats for last season will back this up.
