Someone explain why he is in the team every week. Doesn't create things, doesn't drive the team forward, not a tackling machine like De Jong, slow as fuck, sideways passes all game.

He's obviously got something about him if Capello picks him for England but when he plays for City what does he give us?

All of Mark Hughes signings apart from Barry has added something better than what was already there. Barry has been his usual self during his time at Villa he was the same they offend said about him being inconsistanced. Now we are seeing it first hand here at the club. A lot of people go on about Ireland underpreforming but he aint the only 1. Also if we are looking to get a replacement in I would be more looking at getting a replacement in for Barry more than anyone else. Midfield is a key battle every game you wont win them all against the better teams but you expect them to do it at the weaker teams and win there battle and push the team forward but I dont see that with Barry. Hes at his peak now but his peak is not good enough to help drive the team forward by far 1 of our most costly mistakes. Some may say I am talking shit but he is supposed to be the finished product that Hughes wanted he got him and so far he has been more miss than hit at the club.
