What duvet covers did you have as a kid ?

Two different Manchester City ones, and an England one.

Now I have a sky blue and dark blue one with cirlces on it, a white one with blue and red circles on it and a white one with strange blue and red patters on it.

Don't know how you can sleep under a quilt with red on it Bob.

To me, it's just a colour. But when I've been to Old Trafford the red makes me feel like I need another shower.

Haha no way, same ere lad. The one with face's white corvette Mr T and general action scene. There is a retro shop just off the road near dry bar, and it's got a bag made from the same quilt. Got talking to the guy that owns the shop, and he said he made it himself, does it with a lot of old stuff. Was going to get it tomorrow but don't fancy carting it to the game with me. I'll have to contain myself till at least afterwards. ;0)

May have to buy it before the game and beat you too it ;o0

A sheet, a couple of itchy blankets and a candlewick bedspread and maybe an eiderdown if you were lucky.

...back in the day when your mum would tuck you in so tightly at night that you'd almost be strait-jacketed to the bed, lying underneath brushed nylon sheets that would spark with static in the dark.

no such thing as a duvet,just a sheet and a wooly blanket,a hot water bottle(no fckin central heating then),but i did have a double bed which i had to share with my 2 other brothers though

(said in a Yorkshire accent) A sheet and a wooly blanket.........you were lucky. We used to have newspaper to keep us warm.

mine was usually splashed with spunk on the underside. it was so crusty, i could graze myself just climbing into bed.
