What famous fans do we have?

Probably been posted, Jeff Hordley, Cain Dingle, a Manc is a genuine blue he sat a few rows behind me in the main stand at Maine Road use to see him running up the dodgy steps, every week someone would trip due to the steps being uneven in height

He came out the main entrance after the final game at Maine Road, many famous local blues and ex players did.

In contrast to his usual on screen serious look, Jeff Hordley (as he came out got a "there's only one Cain Dingle, one Cain Dingle" chant) had the biggest cheesiest grin you could imagine on his face, whereas I don't think his TV character Cain has ever smiled.

just watched lucky stars on ITV amanda barry was on and a queston came up about utd and she couldnt get the word out until time was up and she said i carnt say that name [ fergie ] as im a city fan
What a brilliant sort Amanda is. I got to know her quite well in the 90s. She used to come into a shop I worked in. We used to chat about allsorts, mainly Music from the 60s which she couldn't get her head round that i knew so much(i was about 22/23 at the time) and we'd frequently bemoan City's fortunes of that mid 90s time. She absolutely loved Bert Traughtmann she used to tell me. Absolutely lovely human being.
