My step dad said he lived opposite the main entrance to Maine Road and everyone was gobsmacked when he signed for the rags and not City until a string of 'white goods' started arriving at his house!dennis violet..a member of the busby babes. i worked in a chippy that his son had in the 80s. only met him once cos he lived in florida. an absolute gentleman and a fallowfield blue
Yes...Tom Ogden...saw an interview with him. Said he had spotted himself on videos of the pitch invasion after the win over QPR.I'm pretty sure the lead singer of Blossoms used to sit in East Stand level 3, if anyone can confirm that?
Around the same time his Dad turned up with a brand new BMW?Nicky Butt, rumoured to have had a City tattoo removed when employed by Stretford Celtic.

I don't often use the word '****' but I'll make an exception in his case. Used to constantly take the piss, referring to us as "liddle City". He's been strangely quiet in recent years. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Christian switched allegiances as a kid.Terry Christian was a blue as a kid? Lol
Phew, a terrible, arrogant advert for Manchester best off at the swamp.I don't often use the word '****' but I'll make an exception in his case. Reminds me of an equally irritating 'friend' who made the fatal mistake one drunken evening of admitting he cried all the way home when City lost the 1974 League Cup Final to Wolves and vowed from that moment to support the rags instead. Suffice to say, he's never been allowed to forget it.
