What famous fans do we have?

American comedian called Doug Stanhope told me that he always puts money on Manchester City when he gambles on the premier league, that's good enough for me

He’s a Wolves fan due to nickname, the colour of the kit and Robert Plant.

And a city fan. Excellent taste

So two was William Shakespeare - Two Gentlemen of Beswick, Mancini of Venice, Robinho and Joleoninho.

Charles Dickens - A tale of only one City.

Rabbie Burns - My love is like a sky blue rose.

Jack Kerouac - On the Road (to Ashton)

George Orwell - Homage to Maine Road

Enid Blyton's Famous Five - VK, SA, ED, JH and Zab. Joleoninho and Silva got added for the Secret Seven.

Chaucer's Collyhurst Tales.
Stephen King; The (Kippax) Stand.

Rick Wakeman has always been an idol of mine. Don't know how he became a City fan as I think he's from Brentford. Seen him perform many times. Once at one of suits at the top of the Kippax, got my photo with him that night.
Also in the early 2000's he was performing with YES at the Apollo. He put his City shirt on this night, absolutely loved it.

I think it was down to one of his sons. He was a big City fan and Rick used to bring him to games. Rick became a City fan as well but I think his first love was still Brentford.
