Not after he held up a united shirt which someone threw on stage when he played at the swamp in 2008, for which he got roundly booed (and they were definitely boos, not Bruuuuuuce's). He did sort of apologise the next time he played Manchester at the Etihad by referencing it and saying he wouldn't be making that mistake again!

Went to see Bruce Springsteen at the football place in Stretford (Old Trafford is a cricket ground), he walked on in a united shirt, he thought that was good, he got dogs abuse from a lot of people including me. He wore an arsenal shirt at the emirates and a Welsh rugby shirt at cardiff, a shit trick or very badly advised.

Not how I remember it. He came on dressed as usual, then some twat at the front 'presented' him with a rags shirt for his son, who he'd said followed them. He was quite rightly booed for it though.
