Famous people are generally insufferable twats. Ricky Gervais was right in everything he said in his final Golden Globes gig.

I loved this bit;

‘So if you do win an award tonight, don't use it as a platform to make a political speech. You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God, and fuck off’.

Even if famous people were once sound and grounded when they were up and coming, the fame makes them detached from reality and turns them into weirdos. Actors spend too long crafting their art that they act 100% of the time in their life and they’re fake. Musicians get god complexes because they think they’re worshipped by the masses. Footballers are proper arrogant dickheads on the whole, all their diving and pretending to be injured is pathetic n’all and makes the sport they’re supposed to be great at much worse than it should be.

Famous people are just well paid court jesters. They exist merely to entertain the general public yet think they’re more important than that. Unfortunately, a lot of the general public think the famous are more important than that n’all.
