What food do you hate, that at one time you ate.

Haribo, Fizzy Cola Bottles, basically all that high E numbered shit that's marketed towards kids.

It tastes fucking vile and you can literally feel your teeth rotting away as you eat that shit.

I was a junkie on this shit as a kid, eating bags of it everyday.

I cringe when I see friends/family kids eating it.
They get really hyper active aswell, completely changes their personality.
No wonder we have a huge Cocaine problem in our society.

Pork/Spare Ribs- Eat them quite often as a kid as my Dad was a big fan but as a meat Pork tastes awful.
I've purposely eat it in decent restaurants as well and it's still been shit.
Used to eat alot of Bacon/Sausages as well but in the past few years I've noticed just how much shit is in the meat.
How much grizzle drips off on the Grill. Not for me anymore, although every bluemoon I'll crave it for some reason.

Pizza - I still eat it however it's such a big let down. This food reminds me of that hot chick you've wanted to fuck for ages, then when you get
down to it she's awful in bed. Overhyped crap and the meat such as Pepperoni is always processed cheap shit.
I've had authentic stone baked Pizza in Italy and it's been beautiful but that's a rariety - Every pizza place in the North West I've had is fucking mingin'
All made by Money Laundering Asian gangs funnelling their drug money through grotty pizza takeaways.

Growing up in the 1950`s I now gag when I think back to some of the things I used to eat as a kid ... but now ... urggghhhh. So have any of you tried the following :
POBS ; Bread broken up with lashings of sugar and then wonderfully coated by hot milk.
MINCE BEEF TEA : When Mum would cook the mince and then when it simmered she would take all that gungy fat crease off the top and you would drink it from a cup. (honestly).
SUGAR & OR APPLE BUTTIES : Bread and butter with a coating of sugar or sliced apple on bread and butter.
So any more horrible snacks/meals that you could gag to nowadays after eating them as a child ?
POBS was called Goody, when I was growing up in 1970's Limerick.
There was also an unsweetened version that wasn't eaten at all but used as a poultice (is that the right word?) to draw pus out of cut and grazes (it worked, too!).

Never had minced tea but my mother would make us drink cabbage water. She claimed it was full of iron and would ward off teenage acne. I have no idea of its nutritional content but I can tell you I had a face like the map of the moon throughout my teenage years.

It's been yonks since I saw a child handed sugary bread. I'm still partial to a banana and (cheese & onion flavoured) Tayto sandwich, though. It has to be Tayto though, nothing else is the same.

Limerick had a number of pig processing plants (Limerick ham etc) and the offal was always a local delicacy. Breastbones and eyebones (which were actually shoulder sockets) were eaten with relish. Skirts (fatty off cutting from the pork belly) and kidneys were a big favourite. As was packet (a form of blood sausage) & tripe. - my young fella would be on to Childline if he was served any of that.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure all of the above (bar the sugary bread, maybe) would be a damn sight healthier for him than a trip to McDonalds or KFC.

OP I think you've got my grans cook book. As she used to make us all those things when we were at her house. Remember having pobs regularly, she made it so the milk had a skin on it because apparently that made it taste better. Feel sick thinking about it
