Didnt see this but my dad told me that there was some smokers in the toilets then this black steward came in and tried taking a fag out of someones mouth and then the blokes kicked the fuck out of him and were calling him a m*nich and then he had to be dragged out by the police for his safety.

to be honest you are always gunna have people that smoke at games and it was stupid of the steward to go in there

If there was a designated smoking area - compound for people to go to at half time for a smoke, the majority of smokers would use it, meaning the selfish "i will do as I like" brigade would realise that they no longer have safety in numbers and would toe the line so to speak.

I used to be a 20-a-day smoker, I managed to watch the footy without gasping for a cigarette.

I regularly managed to go on 7hr flights without a cigarette, people smoking is their choice but smoking at a football match is damn right ignorant and disrespectful towards the majority of us who don't smoke and want to go to the toilet.

Many smackheads kick heroin but can't kick Nicotine, as it goes.

Withdrawal symptons from heroin are worse than from nicotine, but they're over quicker. Nicotine is easier to get physically and mentally addicted to than heroin.

It is an acknowledged fact that nicotine is more addictive than heroin.

I'm not a smoker but I can't see why the stewards can't turn a blind eye. The nanny-state went too far banning it in public places in the first place. If it's that big a deal to the stewards why can't they just have a designated smoking area? Is it so difficult?
