Something has obviously gone tits up for him. In the crazy world of Real Madrid I can imagine Pellegrini winning the league, then getting sacked because he can't seem to get the best out of one of their new Galacticos.

With things as they are, can't see them both being at Madrid next season...

its funny you should mention kaka. me and my mate were talking about him last night. maybe it was a good thing that we didnt sign him. ac milan and kaka shit themselves when we put our serious bids in. well i hope his career goes tits up. and milan got nearly half what we offered.

not that im bitter or anything.

from what i've seen of him past 2 seasons i just don't think he's as good as he used to be thats all. his last season at milan was dodgy.
its strange how brazilians (ronaldinho another example) are amazing for 2 or 3 seasons, then seem to fall from grace quite quickly. motivation problems maybe?

i remember how gutted i was the night he decided to stay at milan, and we signed bellamy the next morning feeling it was an anti climax. how wrong was i? i bet any money kaka wouldnt have been as good as bellamy has been for us.

Don't want him to come here if he does leave. Not the same player he once was.

One of the most overrated players I've ever known. That deal falling through was a huge blessing in disguise. He'd get swallowed up in the prem

Can't really believe anyone wouldn't have Kaka in the City squad.

Anyway, no way will Real Madrid sell him. Would make no sense on any level...

I'd defo have him in the squad don't get me wrong. I'd be happy if we picked him up for around £30 million which I thinkk is what he's worth, but the £90 million or whatever we were offering was ridiculous. I'm not sure what that would mean for your mate Stevie if we did get him in the squad though mate!

Why would it not make sense for Madrid to sell him? Surely if it ain't happening for him there then it's best to sell? Probably only a couple of clubs who could pay anywhere near what they'd want for him - us, chelsea and maybe Barca but they ain't gonna sell to barca

Would have him in a heartbeat, 40mil should do the trick.

Assuming of course we get 4th spot.

How anybody could turn their nose up at him is beyond me. Especially when we have the technical abilites of De Jong, Barry, Zabaleta, bellamy and SWP to marvel at in midfield.

the first 3 players you mentioned there are toataly different players if we had 5 kaka type players in the midfield we be hammered every week

I suppose the reason I don't see Madrid selling him is because from a financial point of view, it would make more sense to keep him there for his marketing value, rather than sell him at a massive loss.

I read on a forum somewhere from an AC fan, and apparantly the reason why he has gone off the boil somewhat is because of a bad knee injury he picked up 2 seasons ago, and he has ended up with knee problems. Because of this he will never be 100%.

Brazilians are a no go now, unless you have the whole national squad! Would take a Spaniard or argy any day before another Brazilian

I've read a few things about his injuries - but it seems a bit more than that. I've watched Madrid a few times this season, and he seems to be struggling for form more than anything else, and strangely enough, he seems to be struggling under the weight of the pressure as well...

IMO he'd be a waste of money and wouldn't cut it in the PL especially when we've got homegrown talent such as Adam Johnson (not that I'm comparing the 2) who in my eyes will be a shining light for us like Bellamy has been. I don't think Kaka would be suited to the PL, but that's just my opinion.
