Steve Kinsey does some after dinner speaking in the UK. He's about 20 stone now and the funniest speaker I've heard in years - I almost wet myself laughing at some of his football stories. I saw him last year at an event in North Wales.

Didnt Steve Kinsey win the "Most Promising Young Player" award at City for about 10 years running, before they realised that it was about time he started turning that promise into reality. That was where it all fell apart!

Dont know what happened to him but probably blew all his dosh on hairspray. Why is it 80s players do not look like footie players AT ALL...

Is it me or do I think of Steve Kinsey every time I see or hear that wanker Chesney "I am the one and only Hawke."???

On another equally cringing matter...Andy May showed up at our end of season presentation do one year (must have been 1986 I reckon) He was wearing grey slip ons, brown flecked pants, and lime green cardie. I could of swore he had make up on too. Was awestruck at the time (he had nodded in the second in the Charlton 5-1 lest ye forget) but when I think back, my god he looked a tit!!!

Can someone tell me the connection between Steve Kinsey and the Cheshire Hunt pub on Hyde Road?
My memory is failing me but I swear my bro told me either his mum and dad had that pub, or did he just used to drink in there.
Or was he just lying... :/
