What happens to Pellers if?...

Chelsea have Mourinho and are also strengthening. Our squad is getting old, so even with an infusion of young talent the rest of our squad is weakening due to age.
While i agree with your comment you often find world class players can still play at a high level such as Kompany Silva and Yaya, I'm still confident our spine in the squad can still play at the highest level despite being on the wrong side of 30

If Guardiola is coming next summer, can Pellegrini's last season be like Heynckes' last season please?

In defence of the OP, I too joined a long time ago, and only recently decided to start posting. Sometimes other stuff gets in the way, and sometimes you get so irritated by a post that you feel you have to break your silence. Meanwhile, if Pellers delivers the EPL and ECL trophies this season, nobody will be giving Guardiola a look in, that is just media talk anyway.

If a pre-contract with Pep exists and the top two have such a hard on for him to come here, then it does not matter what Pellers does this season.
One would think that the team will be motivated to win the league again and any more stellar signings should increase our chances of winning something.
Who knows what is gonna happen but as this is City, we will take whatever comes our way.

Personally i was happy we kept pellers even tho we went thru abit of poor form during march/april. I look at madrid and they've become a laughing stock in my eyes sacking managers just because they didn't bring in any silverware in the season. Time people start looking at madrid as a team thats only won 3 titles since 2003.

When Bayern wanted Pep, they had told the last manager they wanted him to retire to make sure they got Pep. Even if Pelle wins he might just go out a legend and go out on top.
