What has been the response from the 'decent' rags?

Let's be honest, they're not all that bad. Some know their football and are bearable.
Whats been your experiences so far with them?

On the social network sites, in the pub and around the poker table I've had an absolute ball! I realised that they would expect me to gloat and rub it in....so last night for example I made a point of making out that it was no big deal...just to make it even worse for them.

Their reactions though have been interesting.

All have praised Silva to high heaven with one saying they should have stuck Fletcher on Merlin throughout in a man-marking role.

One just kept on saying 'This has been coming for weeks. We've been lucky to get away with it up till yesterday' in a kind of shocked hushed voice like he'd just got back from 'Nam.

Another lay the blame entirely on Evans. Yeah because THATS why you got stuffed so comprehensively. Though he does have a point. Evans is dogshit.

Best of all, from a rag who is fair as they come, had this to say -
'Well deserved and if thats what you City fans have to look forward to then enjoy it! They honestly looked a different class. Fergie needs to play his best 11 against a world class team, HOW can anything else be an option...'

I'm loving the 'world class team' acknowledgement there.

Whats been your experiences so far with the more reasonable ones?
 
My next door neighbour, a season ticket holder at OT, said that we outclassed and outplayed them. He said he was in awe of the talent we have and Silva, Balotelli and Milner were world class. His comments on Silva were; brilliant, a will o' the wisp who suddenly kept appearing from nowhere!!

He also said that he was hoping he wouldn't bump into me this week!! I haven't seen him for about 2 weeks and he reckoned I had waited round the corner until I saw his car as I arrived home 20 seconds after him!! :-)

One of my 7 rag supporting brothers sent me a text immediately after the match saying "Well done, you were superb". (It hasn't stopped me tormenting the life out of him though, along with the rest of them!!)
 
one rag sugested that city only won because we have spent loads of money, i guess thats true. but fuk him so have they over the years.


they also think that cos we have won a cup and are going to win more that we won't enjoy it the same cos we have "bought it". - i certianly will enjoy it and probably more than they do.
 
One I know on twitter who is pretty decent said we deserved it and it was over once Evans went off. He said Wio, Evra & Anderson were all poor and their defence simply didn't do its job properly. He also said it's been coming for a while.

What bugs me though is that they are all younger than me!!! Why did they not follow me instead of our Dad??
