What has happened to our club? How out of touch are they?

Much like the managers comments or players after a match, what do you expect them to say?

Fucking rubbish again yesterday and that Chilean corpse like **** can fuck off! ?

The response to it tells you all you need to know about how relative it is to the vast majority of us.

Nothing to see here, nothing.

I was just making the point that as a long time blue fan I don't see a problem with the tweet. It's just a case of moving with the times.
 
What's a tweet doing bothering people.

We should dump facebook, twitter, snapchat, Instagram etc... And just talk about the match and the club. Rather see us talking about the U18's winning again rather than a broken seat in Colin Bell level 3 or the fact that Nasri has got dumped and changed his hair colour.

Tweets like this are for the thousands who will never attend a game.

It does not really annoy me, the only irritation is the stupidness of the question and the fact who ever wrote it is pretty clueless about the significance of the result and poor standard of performance.

We literally gave up on the title failing to register a decent effort on goal, in the second half, against a side with the worst recent form and defensive record in the league.

It was a stupid question given the circumstances.
 
I think it's the fans that are complaining who are out of touch. That's not a criticism by the way because I'm one of those who think it's a wank tweet. The reality is that social media has taken over the planet, and the fans who tweets like that are made for are where we are as a club.
Twitter isn't the best place if you're offended easily - hence why I don't do it. Not sure my blood levels could cope with it! Haha!
 
They similarly tweeted something like "How many will we score?" Then 1 football smiley, 2..3 etc. funnily enough after we managed to total ZERO against the worst team in the league, they deletd it.
 
Dear fellow blues.

Please do not confuse what dopey pellars does with what some 23 year old on weekend detail in the media office tweets.

The media office will have been told to keep the social engagement going no matter what. It's not their fault that pellars is ruining his legacy.

Think about it, that's probably a City fan tweeting who is trying to do their job under difficult circumstances.
 
It's a harmless tweet. Made me laugh. Absolutely no different to the 'highlights' packages they churn out after we lose a game and then tweet about them excitedly like "come see the highlights from when Liverpool dicked City at Anfield last week".

People are way too sensitive today. We drew with Norwich. The world hasn't ended.
 
The clubs CityTV and social media team is pretty cringey in the stuff they do.

For something that was very good at the begginning they now appeal to the stupid and clueless, you know those type of people who will reply with things like "dad" everytime Liam Gallagher tweets and "shat" every time Gary Linekar tweets.

It doesn't help that we now have fans doing the same things (BlueMoonRisingTv), there is no escape!

Other than inside city, most CityTV stuff is one long cringefest. Kelly 'hair and nails' O'Donnell trying to play football with a team of professionals was just dire, I lasted about 2 minutes.
 
As a fan of over 50 years standing (sitting is more appropriate now), all I can say is THANK FUCK I DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO ANY SOCIAL MEDIA. Fortunately, I have a life, so I don't have to listen to or watch such puerile offerings such as this. But, if anyone is interested (suit yourselves), I'm going for a dump after posting this.
