The 700k here legally may soon be significantly less looking at the new requirements for Tier 2 Visas.

The minimum salary will be £38700 for a new entrant and for those renewing and unable to get indefinite leave to remain are needing salaries between 50k and 60k (depending on their code when they first got a visa), unless they are in the care sector. Thats not gonna work for a grad with 2-3 yrs post study experience. The idiots in implementing it have set the required salary at the 50th percentile, based on ONS data.

Its gonna be a shit show for many businesses, particularly those that have taken on people who aren't UK nationals or already have ILR status.

The Rwanda policy is madness. We pay millions to exchange 200 people a year for 200 other people.

Even if you think there should be zero immigration, how can you think such an arrangement is a good idea? It's not like Rwanda will be sending us their PhDs, top nurses and consultant surgeons,is it?

What evidence do you have for that claim?

Can you state for the record you don't believe there is an ongoing "white genocide" and that you don't believe there is any merit to the great replacement theory?

Just for clarity and posts can be checked, I am totally against and disgusted by the governments Rwanda policy. It’s cruel, it’s inhuman. I’ve stated on here that legal immigration is a necessity and I don’t care what numbers come, so long as it’s legal and skills shortages are being filled, it’s all gravy.

My issue is illegal immigration.

My penalty for having that opinion is I’m a racist apparently?

No wonder we fucking laugh at the left on here.

Nah, you and your Brexit single issue populists have skewed the vote since 2016.

Now they’ve been shown to be charlatans, they’re going to be annihilated in the next few months.

There’s nothing illegal about travelling here in a boat to claim asylum. You can’t seem to understand that, but it’s part of the Geneva convention.

Given they have no other option to claim asylum, that’s why they do it.

70% are accepted as genuine asylum seekers and the remaining 29.999% get deported, with the remainder being the actual illegal immigrants that go to ground before being deported.
 
Why is the topic of immigration constantly comming back on this thread? its not like the Op started the thread on that issue ... last 15 pages has been mostly on that as if thats the singular issue that is making the Uk regress? Surely not right?
