What has the UK become under the far right influence?

The working class of this nation has had enough of low skilled, low paid immigration driving down their standard of living.

It’s those very communities that have to live with the day to day impacts and no amount of telling them they’re wrong or racist is working anymore.

You make some decent points about putting right all that is wrong so how about busting the corporate bubble that has got us to the point of desperately needing the numbers willing to accept the bare minimum?
Those communities need to be made more comfortable and to have decent services.

The birth rate means that more and more immigration will be necessary.

Corporate greed, paying people too little with wages subsidised by the taxpayer, is definitely one for government intervention, and those businesses have the cheek to avoid their tax too!

Those communities need to be listened to.

On what planet does the UK have to become a nation of 72 million forecasted by by 2032 at current immigration rates from the 67 million it was in 2022?

From the ONS…

The number of unemployed people per vacancy was 2.4 in June to August 2025. This is up from 2.3 in the previous quarter (March to May 2025), and up from 1.7 in the same period a year ago. The recent quarterly increase is because of the decline of vacancies and an increase in unemployment in the latest quarter.

Why do we need more low skilled, low paid workers?

Who pays for that increase? What infrastructure is in place to cater for it? Doctors? Hospitals? Schools? Just how many do we need due to dwindling birth rates?

Listened to and informed. You know it and I know it that politicians and the media are hiding truth. It is only an informed public that can make informed decisions.

If people are working then their employer pays. I've made my point about how public services could be afforded. A recent report described the UK as the global capital of international tax avoidance. It estimated that there is 21 TRILLION DOLLARS hiding in the British territories, more than enough to wipe out the national debt, restore public services, and probably pay every person in the UK a years salary!

Polanski offers great hope and cuts through a lot of the utter bullshit spoken by those protecting their fat wallets at the national expense. The key though is growth, and immigration offers hope. I lived and worked in a nation with a declining population and, economically, it was a disaster.

1% of immigration is illegal. The charlatans will have you believe that everyone arrives on a small boat and they have misled and misinformed the public. At the same time politicians have delivered more than a decade of austerity because they won't deal with the level of tax avoidance prevalent among their own members and those who donate to keep the status quo. I remember reading that Rishi's tax rate was lower than a nurse -what a farce. There is so much we can do but blaming 'the others' is so much easier and protects the wealth of those who throw pound notes at the homeless for a laugh.

I remember when it was the blacks and the Irish to blame for the lot of the working class. Then, just as it became obvious that Thatcher was to blame for effectively closing down UK industry, leaving the North to die on its arse, whilst selling off everything we owned, the rich media barons (all doing very, very well under Thatch) placed all their guns on the lawn of the EU and convinced the working class it was, in fact, the EU to blame for EVERYTHING.
Now that particular dragon has been slain, we’re back to immigrants. Of course, because educating the masses has never been a top priority for the Tories, many of the people who genuinely believe reform will sort things out for them, won’t realise who’s next in line, should Farage get his wish and start throwing people out, whilst still not making anything any better, for those people who voted for him.

With the growth of AI, will this actually be the case?

Great point.
It is so early to say what the effect of AI will be, but you are correct to ask the question, and it is something I hadn't considered within the wider debate.

The system isn’t changing anytime soon.

We now have a Labour government and it isn’t going to change anything.

We simply can’t afford the infrastructure needed to cope with a rise of population as I described in my earlier post and I fail to see an economy that has enough jobs for all or one that even needs them given the amount of unemployed we have now for every vacancy.

I am in Stepping Hill and last night I could hear a guy repeatedly shouting from one of the other bays as loud as he could multiple phrases along the lines of - ‘Just fuck right off you fucking black ****’ at one or more of the nurses on duty. They weren’t taking his job, they were just trying to help him.

Absolutely vile. God help us.

He should be reported for blatant racism and not allowed on the premises again.

The last couple of days I’ve clicked on the comments on ads advertising clothing, modelled by black people. A certain brand had the tag line ‘exquisitely British’

The comments were exactly how you’d imagine in the climate we currently live in.
