What has to happen for us to be awarded a penalty?

Sterling – nailed on penalty .
As far as the pens go, I think the refs have pegged Kun and Sterling as divers. And to be fair they have both been guilty of taking a dive once or twice. The Aguero one was a foul, but he was probably just outside of the box. The Sterling one… Well that was a clear penalty in my opinion. I think he didn’t give it because has definitely made his mind up not to give penalties – so , so late in the game. Regardless, it should have been a PK.

Happened right in front of me, knew he got nowhere near the ball, the most obvious penalty you'll ever see!
And just to rub salt into the wound he gives a fuckng goal kick.
They really are taking the piss at the moment and it's about time our manager started kicking off and calling these cheats out!

Yup.. it was nicely summed up with Pienaar's free kick towards the end of the game. You see that same instance with Sterling/Silva/Aguero going down.. and he'd tell them to get up with the commentators saying how shocking it is. It's unbelievable that it happens as often as it does, and how it's constantly ignored.

When our players do go to ground easier than normal (as staying on our feet achieves fuck all), it's us "diving" and as you've seen our players seem to get booked for it (Sterling being an example) or are talked about at length by "pundits" (using the term loosely) by twats such as Howard Webb putting it into everybody's heads that Aguero's a diver. Like he tried to at length when we played Leicester yet chose to ignore when Depay did it far worse the following week, which he said was a pen I might add.

Completely right. Webb's insistence on Aguero vs Leicester not being a pen, may have made him look foolish but clearly affected the refs under his jurisdiction.

Also, Aguero was being fucking hugged by Funes Mori when through on goal, ref did nothing as Aguero stayed up...would have done nothing if he went down.

Yeah I said the same, that for me was a penalty but because he stayed on his feet the referee didn't have to make a decision so it was ignored. Whereas if he'd have gone to ground (the only way you'll have a chance of getting a fucking decision despite what the pundits/media say) that ref today would have ignored it and possibly even booked Aguero.

As you've said Webb's done that about Aguero for a reason, he probably knew (and alluded to at the time) that it was a penalty, but he's taken his chance to link Aguero to being a diver/going down easy, so now every decision will have the referee's questioning Aguero.

Much like Sterling, at Liverpool he'd have been given that pen tonight, now at City he's seen as a player who goes to ground easy... funny that.

I know fans of all clubs think the refs are shit and get a rough ride from them but what we get or don't get is something else!

Like others have said we'll get a soft one when we're 3 up and the usual people will be on saying there's no problems.

Yep, if that happened in front of the Kop while he was at Liverpool he would have got it.
