What have you achieved this year?

Got one of the resident tories to see sense (albeit temporarily),
had some very good results in work, had a hard on for hours without the use of viagra (seeing City win at Wembley does strange things),
managed to avoid getting so drunk i would do something really stupid like get down on one knee to some bird,
kept the repayments to my house and car (many havent been so lucky), made money at the cheltenham festival for about the sixth year running, cricket club seconds player of the year,
hit more sixes in a season than ever before,
im sure there is something else but cant remember.

I saw the place of my Employment close after 26 years. Whilst the Bosses above me tried to "cherry pick" the best jobs or pissed off because they had no Redundo coming me and the other Shift Manager were left alone with no help from the Job Centre or the Trade Union.

I tried my best to hold it all together with calmness and dignity and do all I could for the kids working there in helping them find new jobs.

I just about pulled it off and think of it as my second biggest achievement.

The biggest acheivement was waiting 35 years to see City win a Trophy.

Well done mate.

Mine was much the same. Managed to recover from the shock of sudden redundancy to keep things ticking over in the end.

But seeing City beat the rags in the SF and then complete the job in the final was the highlight of the year easy after such a long wait and endurance test.

Emigrated to Germany.

Basically walked back into my dream job which i left 10 years ago.

Got the other half preggers!

Well, I self-published, just to get it done. It's...

I realised what was, and wasn't important in my life.

Got my house renovated and moved in. Next year we're thinking of unpacking.

Saw my kids grow at an alarming rate.

City.
