What if Cleopatra Lived?

Bollox. Mark Antony was winning the battle of Actium when Cleopatra rowed off and he followed her. I should point out that 65% of "her" army were Roman supporters of Mark Antony. So the end result would have been Mark Antony as Ceaser with Egypt as a client kingdom of Rome eventually absorbed into the Roman Empire as it was on our time line.
August would probably be called Antony, being about the only change to our time time, though Britain becoming a Roman province may possibly not have happened - though control of Cornish tin mines would probably have forced that eventually.

That is an interesting take. That said Mark Anthony was becoming very embroiled in Egyptian culture, and may have orientated himself and his empire towards Rome. In that case Rome doesn't culturally swallow up Egypt, Egypt culturally swallows up Rome.

Not really sure about that one. The Ptolomies were Macedonian Greek and spoke Greek.
Cleopatra though was the first one to bother learinig Egyptian. Her family was still mainly Greek in culture - so not that different from Rome in many ways.
It may well have resulted in a split in the Roman Empire between East and West 400 years before it actually happened.
