What is it you are not allowed to say?

I walked through our little seaside town and there was a man and a woman with a little stall handing out free copies of the the Qur'an. A passerby got very upset about this and told them they would be arrested if they were handing out the bible, so that I suppose.
 
Well hoping someone kills Trump has been frowned on on here and well as another forum where I suggested a nice open top parade in Dallas in November might be nice for Trump
 
I loved Jim'll fix it when I was a kid.

He was obviously a total nonce but I really looked forward to watching the show.
 
I don't know anyone who believes in free speech.

I can't think of a single person who would be happy to have their photo on the front of the Mail with a text below them falsely accusing them of being a murderer/paedo/rapist.

That's free speech. And it would be a very Bad Thing.

In general, it’s not a rather closed echo chamber where one runs into trouble. Try saying a few of the things on here in a public audience, or at work to a mate, or on a TV show, and you’ll quickly find out where your supposed “freedoms” begin and end.

Nobody is afraid of fellow blues having a pop on here, as it’s all grist for the Internet forum mill.

Take it outside into the real world and you might find a slightly different reaction, and it often takes one person living under the umbrella of “professionally outraged” and you can find yourself in a world of hurt.

And, fwiw, when you say “freedom of speech,” there cannot be a laundry list of exceptions listed thereafter, or it is not freedom of anything, but rather permission.
