Yesterday by The Beatles. Evidenced by the number of cover versions and most broadcast hours ever. Still going strong after nearly 60 years.

Summertime from Porgy and Bess has the most versions that are registred for roylaties of any song, somewhere in the region of 70,000 different recordings but I don't think anyone knows for sure.
