- Stability is the key. Get the right man in from the start with a proven track record, and give him the time and patience to succeed. Mancini is a risk, Hughes was a risk. Mourinho knows what it takes to succeed in the Prem.

- Continuity at the back. We are chopping and changing every game. Good teams always have a good foundation and have a settled back 4 and keeper.

- Creativeness. I think this is where we are lacking at the moment. Arsenal have Fabregas, Spurs have Modric, Chelsea have Cole and Lampard. Lverpool have Gerrard and even Everton have Arteta. Ireland for some reason or another is not doing it. We need to feed our strikers. Adebayor is always coming deep looking for the ball. Let him do what he does best and leave him where he is lethal.

- Support. Whats happened to our loyal humoured support. Lets enjoy the ride and get behind the team again Win, Draw or Lose. Too many fickle fans are out there at the moment and our negativeness must filter down to the players.

This is just my opinion whats your own thoughts?

Brilliant solution, a change of manger always works! how many managers in the last 20 years now!?!

The solution for the moment is for everyone to support the team and the manager as loudly as possible for every minute of every match until the end of the season, regardless of whether they like the performances or the decisions of the manager. We aren't going to change manager before then so any other action can only be unhelpful. If at the end of the season Mancini hasn't done as well as the owners would like then they have to decide what they want to do. If fans continue to kick off at the drop of a hat then they are likely to alienate the owners as well as harm performances and that would be a tragedy.

but how many of them managers we have had have gone on to win big things in the future?

average team, average club = average manager

NOW:

class club, class team, loads of money to spend = attract class managers

if we deliver with mancini i don't want him to go, but i think were still gonna see the special one arrive.

Think we should change the goalie before the manager. Always a good 'un t'ave a different goalie after yer concede a goal. Don't know what we'd do last night though after the third 'un went in?

To support my team, we've been through worse than this. Just because the rags are talking about doesn't mean shit.

Get off Mancini's back, he has enough on it at the moment. If the players haven't the right attitude, someone elses will to win (e.g. Bellamy, Barry, De Jong, Kompany, Tevez) will shout their knackers off till they get what they want.

I was fucking fuming last night, walked into work and heard the same ol' shit. But I'm the one who smiles and still supports my team - I've had more than this shit in my life, this wont stop me.

Solution? It's down to City. Not us, all we can do is support them - Kudos to the majority of fans last night who went, they were so much louder than the loud Stoke home support.

We will see our match winners on the pitch in the remainder of the season - the ones who aren't probably wont be around for long. For me, personally I think Kompany looks like a winner through and through. He wont stand for being knocked out all the time - A solution would be making him captain perhaps? Throwing the idea which many think is the right one to City perhaps.

Stop being so negative guys, we're in the best position we've ever been in (certinaly in my life time). Let's get behind the fucking team! Another year or so isn't going to hurt us.

Oh and Ricardo Fuller is a prick - don't know him personally, but judging him from a football perspective, he is a grade a prick.

And then 3 months later Moyles, and 3 months later Wenger and 3 months later O'Neill. Don't forget though that in between times, slag off the team at every opportunity both on here and on the terraces every time we don't win, start a witch hunt against individual players on some kind of rota system, demand instant success on a daily basis and sulk like spoilt children when we don't get it.

That should do it eh?

Until the players finally stand up and be counted regular on matchdays then nothing will change. There seems to be no work ethic around the squad whatsoever and players feel free to flaunt there status without actually living up to there reputation on the pitch and putting in a shift ( with some exceptions ) . With us being as wealthy as we are will almost inevitably atract the sort of player, who with large wages will happily join the club and maybe turn up on matchday and give 30-40% knowing that in the past we would not have attracted players of there quality FACT. I cant see an immediate solution to the problem in the near future because to get quality players you have to pay large wages because they are all greedy fuckers at heart. The only way round this problem which is not easy, is to look for players who you know will give you 100% every game but still have enough quality to play in a team with top level players and can make a difference, this is extremely hard to find and there is not many of them out there. I dont believe our current problems lie soley with Mancini and the coaching team.

Coaching.

Get the players moving the ball around quicker. Which opens up spaces and (almost bizarrely) makes passing easier and of course creates chances.

Tell Given he's sacked if he hoofs the ball forward EVER again.

Tell Adebayor he's sacked if we see him in our half of the pitch. Or on the side lines.

Tell Ireland he's sacked if he doesn't shoot when within 20 yards of the goal.

I could go on.
