The Time Travelling thread got me thinking.

Time is a really mysterious thing for me and I've always been fascinated by it.

Does the 'future' already exist or is life just one 'present' after another?

If it does exist, does it ever 'stop' or does it just go on 'forever'?

Our whole lives are dictated by 'time' - why have we settled on this as a whole race?
My personal opinion is that the universe is nothing but a complex chain of chemical reactions, meaning that within this universe the future doesn't already exist but is already determined. I do, however, believe that the concept of a multiverse is perfectly feasible and that within those infinite combinations would be universes that are the same as ours but at different points in the chain. Our future, though determined, would not already exist in our universe but would already exist in other universes within the multiverse.

Glad you cleared that up Irwel

Seriously?

I do not believe there is anything predetermined, it's all random and chaotic, and what the fuck is a multiverse out of science fiction?
