What is up with some City fans ?

Various reasons.

you get many calling other people points whores and saying they cannot get tickets but thry do not join the cup schemes which guarantee tickets easily for home cup ties

you get many who will moan about lack of points but then will not be at Chelsea or Newcastle when it easy to get points and a ticket

you get many slagging supporters clubs who do many good things

you get many who go along with the ride but end up getting slagged for apparently missing the past

you get youngsters moaned at for singing and chanting in a concourse

you get called if you question ticket prices

anyone who started watching after 2008 is a jcl

the above are examples

I know this is a pop at me but I will always say it as it is.
I hate plastics (main reason for hating rags) and gloryhunters. yes we get far away fans but odds are they've been following us for years, years we were shit. no glory hunting just a dedicated passion to follow city. i'll admit I wouldn't have done it. I am lucky as I live so close to the stadium.
my beef is simple and i'll throw this question out there. why was it that the games v juventus, kiev even psg hull and so on didn't attract this sort of chaos ? my guess is that fans couldn't be arsed. if its a money thing how come they can afford this? how come there is nobody with a dentist appointment? fact is they CHOSE to miss those games. now that's fine but don't then come on here moaning about difficulties obtaining a ticket, or slagging the club off. the club have provided us with a fantastic team and a fantasic stadium, they must look at our support and think "what the fuck have we done". when pep comes this type of game with become commonplace. get ready.

i think some would like us to step aside bill.

i can understand peoples frustration, i remember never missing a home game in the league or cups in 1969, i`d also been to most aways but still didnt get a ticket for the fa cup final against Leicester because at the time we only got 16,000 ticket and not all went to the supporters.

That's criminal.

I don't think anyone got 4 tickets pretty card,I hope not anyway. With 42k season card holder's with citizens to follow there won't be room for plastics thank fuck. That said we should be giving Madrid as few as possible so as many blues as possible gets fixed up.

Not sure I understand your point Bill. The chaos yesterday was caused by season ticket holders trying to buy tickets for a Champions League semi. So unless you are saying that significant numbers of our season ticket holders are 'plastics' or 'glory hunters', I think the frustrations are warranted. Demand was always going to be high, so I would expect the club to have the right infrastructure, systems and processes to deal with it smoothly. That doesn't make me any less grateful for what our owners have provided.

Don't flatter your self Bill it was not a pop at you .I told you what I thought of your posts yesterday.i agree with a lot you have said on this post .

IMO this is firstly why the stadium expansion was a great idea and secondly, why we need to expand it further. If you're incredibly insecure a few empty seats might upset you - but surely getting another 7k blues in for the big games is well worth it?

Exactly.

They said we wouldn’t fill our new stadium, but we did.

We were ridiculed for increasing our capacity, but now we’re averaging 53,000.

The rags might sneer, but the attendance gap is closing

Also, there’s a world of difference between Hull in the League Cup, and a Champions League Semi Final against Real Madrid, only two weeks after we’ve played PSG in the Quarter Final. It’s all a bit manic, but in a strange way, the chaos adds to the occasion

Load of rubbish on this thread, I'm afraid.

This is a forum. People are anonymous. They woman and back-bite and wind up for fun, or because they have issues. It's always been like this on here and on every other football forum. It isn't real life.

I bet hundreds of blues have said to another blue this week "I can't get through to City for Real tickets", and about practically every response will have been along the lines of "Bad luck mate. You'll get one." Virtually nobody will have said "Where were you against Seville" or "Haha, you should have been on the scheme like us real fans", unless they are still at school.

Forums are full of shit.
