What is up with some City fans ?

With respect I think that's a dick comment. It's people with season tickets who are having problems, people on the CL scheme and people who don't have season tickets but have been to all the CL games who may not get tickets.

And whether you attend one game a season or every game, you're still a customer and entitled to be treated with due respect.

The club cocked up and it's disgraceful that people are playing the "I'm alright Jack" or "I'm on the cup scheme so I'm a bigger blue than you" card.
I agree, just frustrated. If it happened to me i would be pissed, i do have a lack of empathy. Bill has a point thouh, i wish we could fill up on european nights. I just think unless we bite the bullet and pay, whilst telling them we are pissed, they wont care. They will think, perfectly logically, they cant win.

In reply to the OP there's nout wrong with City fans. It's just the internet. Anonymity breeds oafish behaviour. Doesn't happen in real life.

Someone's bound to mention the fact that occasionally a few coked up children have hissy fits and end up exchanging girly punches after particularly galling defeats. A handful of incidents like that don't alter the fact that for me we're a really close knit fanbase
I have to disagree with you, lots of people know me on here and most think I'm a bigger oafish **** in the flesh

I don't think he does have a point though. It doesn't matter how many were there against Kiev. It's completely irrelevant to this situation.

We have 42,000 season ticket holders of whom nearly half are on the CL scheme. So no more than 24,000 people tried to buy tickets on Monday morning (even assuming they all tried) and instead of doing that over 2 days, as they should have done (and eventually happened) they tried to do it in 5 hours. Because of their lack of planning, thousands of people were seriously inconvenienced.

They also, either deliberately or through incompetence, allowed people to buy more than one ticket. So if you had been to all 5 CL games but were only a Cityzens member, you might have not got a ticket whereas someone who hasn't ever been to a single game this season might well have got one. That's the problem here.

On this occasion PB I think you are right 100% :)

Much the same in the PSG ticket price thread. The I'm alright jack brigade on here is growing!

There may not have been a walkout protest, which I wouldn't have agreed with anyway but I think enough people made their feelings clear by emailing the club, 1894 group, on here, for the club to take note and do something about it. There is no other reason for the club lowering prices for a more important match. The people who took the time to voice their concern to the club should be thanked not have the piss taken out of them by the "the club can do no wrong, I am a blind follower" brigade.
Yep!
