I did listen to it, and I’m sorry to say I was disappointed. But that’s just me. Records with no appreciable beat song after song and no hooks put me to sleep, unless they’re made by Pink Floyd, who did have hooks, or Brian Eno, who made (some) records that are SUPPOSED to put you to sleep.
Cf. My earlier comment about Radiohead who I think are hands down the most overrated band in the history of popular music by three or four standard deviations.
Slow records are the modern equivalent of chamber music.
In terms of production, what it has in common with Welcome to the Pleasuredome, and the Lexicon of Love, is peerless oversight by Trevor Horn. These albums were used as reference CDs in music shops to demo equipment, so I've read. Incredible sound.
Trevor Rabin brought incredible tracks to the table when he joined, which the rest of the band then honed and polished up; much less meandering than Steve Howe. I do enjoy a Iot of old bands tracks too though
One of the things the tracks on here also have in common with your album choice is how well they transfer and even sometimes improve, when played live on the tour for that album. Certainly judging by 9012Live DVD, and by what I've heard from the Zeppelin box set. For your choice, I loved the first 2 sides, but then it petered out a touch for me.

I prefer Hemispheres of the pre-Permanent Waves Rush albums, esp. side 2! Moving Pictures will always be my favorite.
