Was dreaming about this last night.
Excruciating and execrable memories of Morning Has Broken etc probably from primary school, cubs or scouts visits to church has no doubt contributed to putting me off Christianity for life.
Hark the Herald Angels Sing was always ok though and Onward Christian Soldiers was decent, and (despite reminding me of Ricky Villa etc), When a Knight Won His Spurs I remember with a bit of fondness for some reason.
We’ve got Urban Hymns of course, and Hymn To Her by The Pretenders, but I’m probably gonna go with Moby. As you do.
