Bushmills or Glenfiddich?

Never had Bushmills and although I'm sure there'll be a few whisky drinkers who look down on Glenfiddich as common, I like it, and most bars stock it.

I'm not a great fan of Irish whisky anyway, would always choose a Scottish one given the choice.

Out of the two bushmills, but Middleton [sp] is about the best Irish I've had, might be singleton, only ever had it over there and it's been a good few years.

Laphroaig is to peaty for me, isle of Isley is may favourite

Dalwhinnie for me. Nice and firey first hit. Does the job everytime.

Got a nice 15 year old one in my cabinet that I might have a look at today.

Glenfidich is alright. Tried Laphroeg and it is peaty and takes some getting use to but you overcome that mid-bottle.

Tried dozens of different ones over the years but always come back to Dalwhinnie.

Have you tried Jura I find it a very good middle of the road, highland park for a good cheapy

Much prefer a Scottish single malt to any other and I go to the Isle of Skye every year, and stay not far from the Talisker distillery ;-)

Prefer a more peaty drink like a Laphroaig.
