There's a trick to this....full power and aim up.Hit the wall.Look at the dial and green thing. then adjust and keep adjusting until you hit the apple.There's no penalty for how many arrows you get.
Keep repeating the further back you go.

Level 15 for me using this method.

Got to 16 put my arrow high as i could and still got the guy in the chest!
