Some nice stories here guys....
Myself, Watched/Played football right from being very young, always playing the game.
My "First" team I stumbled upon - My mother would buy us clothes from Charity Shops, came across a City top and I wanted it (to be honest I think it reminded me of Lazio and I watched alot of Serie A on Tv as a kid)

Anyway after realising it was City, I started following the team, never went to any matches though.
I moved to my Dads when I was around 9/10 and he was a big Bolton fan at the time, started taking me to watch Bolton at Burnden Park.
For a few seasons I watched Bolton, when I was around 12 I moved back to my Mum's in Bury.
I didn't want to support the same club as my Dad for private reasons so I decided to give City a whirl... Well I attempted to.
Found out the Fixture list, hopped on the Metrolink at 13 and headed into Piccadilly.
Didn't have a clue how to get to Maine Road, eventually I found out the bus route and went there.
First matches at the ground were in the 1997/1998 season, although I'm sure I saw a Niall Quinn goal for City when I was watching footy at Burnden Park.
Anyway I mostly followed City online/radio/newspapers to be honest, untill I started working and so on in my late teens and thus started going more frequently.
These days I'm a season ticket holder and try to get to a few away games per season. My partner Megan is a blue and also a SC holder aswell.
I started a Supporters Club in the North Bury area recently.

And that's why I support City....
