What moment in history would you change?

Are you a paid up member of 'The Freedom Society'?

I like freedom but I've never heard of The Freedom Society, sorry.

Do they pay well?

I have to correct myself they are actually "The Freedom Association".

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.tfa.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.tfa.net/</a>

They are an ultra-libertarian grouping (oh the irony) which the McWhirter twins were heavily involved in. One thing that strikes a cord is that they said they were opposed to racism as it was
"a form of collectivism". Fucking priceless.

Thanks for bringing it/them to my attention.

In return, I think I ought to bring to your attention that there's nothing ironic about libertarians coming together for a shared purpose.

And, yes, racism (both kinds) is a form of collectivism. It's probably the most obvious form of collectivism.

No. The most obvious form of collectivism is a society based on Clause 4. If the means of production are collectively controlled it's difficult to see where you go from there if you're a libertarian.

btw there is something ironic about a group who reject people blindly following a centrally defined mantra in exchange for another group who reject people blindly following a centrally defined mantra .

Rehtpek bro.

Economic collectivism, sure.

Libertarianism isn't about 'reject[ing] people blindly following a centrally defined mantra'. It's a rejection of force, or, at the very least, a view that less government involvement in X = better results.
And if you're a libertarian you may want to voluntarily join a libertarian group in order to help promote libertarianism. Joining a group for mutually beneficial purposes is hardly antithetical to libertarianism. We value jobs as well...

Swales taking over at City

Swales was a good guy who tried his best, and the way he was thanked for his efforts was shocking! We've had worse and we've had better, but at the end of the day he wanted the best for the club, but never pulled it off. He put his hand in his own pocket. Ok i admit at the end things were going badly for us as a club but the managers were to blame he always backed them to the hilt, if he'd had a crystal ball things would've been better, but he didn't!

Tell someone involved in City's scouting team to pay for the growth hormone treatment of a 12 year old kid from the suburbs of Rosario called Lionel.

Stop Mary from having Jesus. That single act has created more death than all the "Great Wars" combined.

I would probably go back and and either stop the Roman Empire from collapsing (don't know how) or stop FDR's 'New Deal' (don't know how - a sex scandal would probably work ...tho I've got plenty of time to come up with a foolproof plan!)[/quote]

Simples. Ask Jesus if he would ask his followers to leave?

Ask God to make Eve tongue-less.
