What more do we need?

Do we have the players to be in the top 4? - Yes
Have they had enough time to gel? - maybe
Have we had huge refereeing decisions go against us? maybe (I believe these games should have been put out of reach from the opposition before the late goals were conceded etc)

What do we need to make it all happen?

Time?

A new manager?

definitely no more than 1-2 more world class players (left back included) - hard to attract with no CL or world class manager.

Are we (old Hughes outers and new Hughes outers) just too impatient?

I think this is the biggest myth. We lack world class finisher, world class defender, world class player maker, top midfield players. Any two of those could potentially make us a top4 team but currently we dont have any of those.
