What part has Bobby played in us being taken seriously?

I think he's a very good manager and our achievements this season show this but as a man I absolutely love him. I love his interviews, he never says too much and he's so cool, I love his touchline presence, particularly when he gets a chance to show off his skills with the ball. Together with Khaldoon I couldn't have asked for two better men to lead this club forward.

YES! It always makes me smile when I see this, I wish I could find a video of his skills from the touchline, I distinctly remember some skill against sunderland :P

I personally feel that his English is good enough, just infront of the media he is very trying to be as careful as possible and not get anything wrong or make a mistake he will regret.

Also, I like that we have the most stylish manager (dare I say, most dashing?) in the Premier league.

I like that he is stylish and is the cool italian. But what I like more is that he gets annoyed and animated on the touchline. If something is not to his liking he bawls at the players. Deosn't just sit there looking cool and sulky.

The moment that the sheikh bought City, success was our destiny. The only question was who would deliver this success.

I'm glad it is Mancini. He's someone I can like personally, not a twat like twitcher or whiskeynose. A lot like Ancelotti with his class attitude and good sportsmanship. Got ice running through his veins on the touchline, too. I bet if we signed Messi, he would just act nonchalante and say eeeez normal. :)

Not so sure about the money/destiny bit.
Credit must be due to the chairman and the owner for having the guts to sack Hughes...under his guidance we would be nowhere!
Mancini has proven he is a class act.
No sign of the boo boys now!!

Who didn't agree at the time that Bellamy should go? Me for one, and almost every blue i spoke too.
Imagine him anywhere near our team now...
How right Bobby was.
Here's a contrast - subbing a striker (Maken I think) for a keeper and David James going up front - last game of the season, Boro i think it was..
Even at the time it seemd fairly ridiculous.
Think how far we have come from that now...

Take away the role as the manager itself, do you think his persona and past reputation have moved us on more than other possible managers may have done?

his standing in the game outside of england is top notch, makes him able to attract the very best that europe has to offer.

all that counts is what he has achieved Blue

He just gets on with the job and never has one of those pathetic 'war of words' with other managers.

I've liked him since day one. He has a sense of dignity and style that is refreshing, and long may it remain.

In Mancini I trust, and he ain't done too bad in the last few days, has he?
