Hi Guys... pretty new on bbm, but damn nice place...

I've been thinking about a thing for the last couple of days, and that is that people in here (and city fans everywhere i guess) are thinking about one thing... "If we sign that guy, where do we put him???"

Well as i see it City has had one big problem the last couple of seasons and that is our squad quality... Not so much in the starting eleven (though some of those guys aren't that great either) but our bench the last couple of seasons has been crap + sturridge and Evans... we need to strenghten our whole squad and you do that best by bringing in players that are going to compete directly with the players already in the starting eleven... That might make the starting eleven look like this

Hart
Richards
Onouha
Kompany
Bridge
De Jong
Ireland
Kaka (do I dare :))
Robinho
SWP
Bellamy

But That would also include a Bench with Zabaleta, Dunne, Benjani, Elano, Petrov, Bojinov etc And we would be rid of the worst crap such as Hamann,Ball, Ben Haim, Vassel etc.

And If we are going to bring in another couple of players it will get even better. So no harm done in placing good players on the bench. That equals quality :)

That was the exact same lineup i thought of, with the exception of Villa instead of Bellamy :P

Well said mate ;) Before we can "take on the world" we need a better squad aswell as the odd galactico here and there. The sooner the above deadwood is shifted and players such as bellamy, de jong etc. come in and add quality to the squad the better :)

Zab on the bench?, right back for me or push him up in to midfield where I believe he has played for Argentina.

To be honest on current form it should be MR on the bench anyway if he is struggling as centre half because I think Zab is better at right back

Yeah well it was just an example, but the big idea is that a year ago No One would have come up with the idea that Richards or Dunne could possibly be on the bench....

Two quality players for every position, I think thats the current City/Les idea/thinking.

GK -Hart and ????
RB -Richards and Zab
LB - Bridge and ???? (Garrido ??)
CBs -Kompany, Onouha, Dunne and ?????
DM - De Jong, Ireland, ????? and ????? (Johnson??? Elano ????)
AM - SWP, Robinho, Kaka, Petrov,
ST - Bellamy(FFS), Sturridge, Bon Jovi, ????? and ?????? (David Villa Hopefully) (Caciedo ???)

Youth Players
Veiss
Logan
Mee (not me personally but him)
Clayton

Now look at those who wont or shouldnt get in the side.

Schmeicel
Micheal "says to 10 year old ballboy- you stupid f*cking c*nt" Ball
Gelson "headless Chicken" fernadez.
Bein Hiem
Berti (Who ??)
Hamman ( zimmer frame)
Etuhu
Jo (The Brazilian Samaras)
Vassell (not me watch)
Evans ( ched is not the answer)
Benjani (the smiler)

hmmmmm - looking at the above quite a lot of players might be moving on, as well as considering the youth coming through
