What positives can we take from that?

1) Villa drew one of their must win homes. That result was even worse than our loss

2) The attitude of the players was good, and they showed real fighting quality throughout the game

3) Santa Cruz played well, and brought us back in the game in the 2nd half when everton started to knock the ball around with comfort in midfield

4) Mancini taking on Moyes. I rated him for that, and that might bind players, manager and fans together a bit

5) Spurs won in the Cup so they will have more games to play.

6) There's plenty of time to put things right. You always get a game like that when everything goes wrong. Bit disappointing we couldn't overcome the problems we were given but we know we're challenging for 4th, not the title.

Plus we still have spurs and villa to play at home.

Spurs have a hard run in.

There is going to be about 3 points from 4th to 7th imo.

7) Villas best player, Milner, went off injured. Achilles problem which sounds pretty bad

Well done fellas, stay upbeat, we're still in it, Villa, was a terrible night for them, Spurs will drop more points, maybe their fate is to go all the way in the Cup, and we will get 4th!!

To be honest i don't think City will face a more difficult game than that in our remaining games ........

Everton defended for their lives , were well organised , hardly put a foot wrong all game , and scored twice at crucial times in the game ...

but what worries me is how some of our players don't appear to have the stomach for a fight , and run out of ideas , when the chips are down ...... and this was a HOME game , not an away one!

I thought we played well overall and certainly didn't deserve to lose.

8)Adebayor is back.
Yes. That's another big plus

Maybe if he'd have been available we'd have had enough to get our noses in front when we were on top at 0-0.

He's a great individual player, but I like Santa Cruz and Tevez together. But the more good players we have available the better.

9. We wont hear a peep from Ian Wright about SWP being "mugged off" for a good few weeks, after yet another poor display from Shaun. He will surely just shut the fuck up now.

Can't see the Derby or our trip to the Emirates being a walk in the park :-)

No they won't be easy. But at least we will be playing teams who will try to win the game playing football. We tend to do better against these teams as it allows us to play our game, eg Arsenal, Chelsea.

We struggle more against teams whose primary aim is to stop us playing, frustrate us and then snatch a win eg Everton, Stoke

Big Gob Wright should come down to Eastlands and watch his son play !!!!!!!!
Fuck me,he,d end up giving City some money back and not an increase of £10,000 + a week he wants !!!
Great servant for the club, but times like this when he don,t seem interested !!
