The possession that I have that I have had in my possession that I have possessed the longest for the most lengthy amount of time would have to be the one that I had before all the others had come into my possession.

The Beatles first 2 albums, Please Please Me and With The Beatles, plus the singles She Loves You and I Wanna Hold Your Hand

I got them for Christmas 1963 when I was 10

All sorts of stuff. Like my mother, I'm a real hoarder, as was her father before her. I still have quite a lot of stuff that I ended up with after my grandparents moved into a smaller house in the late 1980s, some of which had been my grandfather's since he was young (although I wish most of all that I'd somehow found a way to keep the tandem that he and my grandmother used to go on holiday on when they were teenagers in the late 1930s!)

Of my own stuff, the thing I have had the longest is a teddy that my sister gave me the day I was born (in her bedroom!). It's on the shelves in my kids' bedroom, so it still gets a cuddle every now and then from them! I've still go diaries going back to 1980 up to about 1990, too, with such insightful entries as "went to Daz's house with Ant. Ant did a wheelie in front of a policeman", "watched the great egg race. it was ace", although the later ones get a bit...er...interesting!
