My Nan used to use lacquer and always wore one of those plastic see through rain bonnets in times of impending deluge. They also fold away neatly and probably takes up no more room than that out of date durex in your wallet. Hope this helps.

It's not long! It's longer than the average male but well kept, I'd say it's a Gareth Bale length. Enough to style with wax but hairspray needed to keep the real shape!
