Interesting article, cheers
Really good read, I wonder if Kompany could play that destoyer role?

anythings better than long ball tactics but must concentrate on our leaky defence

According to an Italian correspondent today he did grind out a lot of 1-0 wins and was not known for being very expansive so dont think we can expect KK type of football but then again he probably never had this type of group of players to manage previously.

Would've liked some of them instead of draws with Wigan, Birmingham, Fulham, Burnley, Hull & Bolton.

From the article...

In a competition where possession of the ball and defence is paramount, his Inter afforded too much of the former to the opposition, making the latter much harder to get right, especially at home. They kept only one clean sheet at San Siro in six knockout ties under the Italian - so it will come as no surprise to discover that out of the four ties that they lost, two were on away goals.

Sound familiar? Still fingers crossed - I think we'll make top four whoever the manager, so let's hope for a little excitement (and not the 3-3 variety) along the way!
