What's the guy ever done to show he's better than Stevie Ireland? Ireland has his head together, worked on his fitness all summer, worked on his game. He's a top class midfielder, committed to the cause and earning his money. Johnson is a waste of space, quite typical really of some of our players who nearly made it - not committed enough, not serious enough, too much money too soon. Get rid.

That's what I mean, I don't know if you have concrete proof or it's just hearsay, I accept I am a fan nowadays living down here unlike yourself who I assume goes to most games, but if there is some truth in it it could be he's down because he can't shake off an injury. But if all it is is he's a pisshead then the club would have taken the money and Newcastle would never have made the bid in the first place the club must feel he's going to be ok. The tag the New Colin Bell for anyone of my age is the highest compliment you can give and a hell of a thing to stick on any kid but go back and look at those 2 youtube clips again it's scary to see. When I saw him score the goal v Derby I thought I'd died and gone to heaven God had been cloned!

He's a very average player anyway.He scored two decent goals during the whole of last season,and somehow became known as a goalscoring midfielder.He lacks pace and is very one footed. He is ok when given time but you rarely get that in the premier.Oh and add to all that the fact he has been seen around town many times acting like a complete arsehole,and Im not too fussed if I never see him in a blue shirt again.
