Bit of a patronising thread this isn't it,

I think balotelli is fine.

What happened to the TEAM guys

Got himself banned twice at important stages of the league.

You consider that "fine" ?

Sorry Element mate but we disagree here bro. The team i believe is better without him going of what i have seen.

I shall though disagree with good faith :)

Yeah it's not good that he got red carded.....
But he also played a good part, and I don't think he is hugely disruptive to the team

What about the tottenham penalty!!

But I take ur point, my post was kind of a knee jerk to the title of the thread , what to do about balo, just remind me of the patronising voice of the media story lines

No point alienating players, it just makes it harder to flog them. he screwed up in a match doing football stuff, thats all. It was a big game, but he didn't loss it for the team, the abject performance of the 11 did that.

I've been thinking a lot about this since yesterday's match, you need ability, mentality and discipline to play in this city side. I don't know if Ballotelli will ever have the last two components in a reliable way. That makes him 4th choice striker right now, and thats what he should remain until the manager can trust him. If that does not work for him he should leave, but he has the choice to tackle his game attitude and adjust to epl referees so he can move up the pecking order.

If the team can get into a commanding position against QPR, I'd like to see Balo come on. He scored damn important goals against spurs and sunderland.

I personally don't advocate 20 million quid 3rd/4th strikers - promising rising talent or epl tried and trusted should fill those berths.

Bring him on against QPR if all is going well and hope he pulls his weight, scores a goal and get's to feel part of the team.

And rob somebody of the chance to be on the pitch at the final whistle in a title winning game, that's a terrible idea !!, I've got a good idea .....lets have the players who have got us here in the last few weeks on the pitch , let those who have earned the right to be out there at the end be on the pitch.

I've said it for months ...get rid, he's nothing but a selfish liability.

We should totally keep a guy who has played golf for six months on before a guy who scored 13 in 14 starts this year, and singlehandedly dragged us to a point not four weeks ago against Sunderland.

S om e of the attitudes on here are a complete disgrace.

Do you think we would be in this postion without balo?

Behave..

So who would of bagged the goals then with no tevez about?

Missing out on the run in could be the making of him.

Much will depend on what happens with our other 3 strikers. We cant be in the position again where Mario is one of just 3 strikers. And there's always the threat that we could lose Tevez and/or Dzeko late in the transfer window.

I think the club's position of not pushing to sell him but being open to offers is right. If we received a £20m+ offer in June or early July I think we should take it, replace him, make sure we've got a least two of the strikers positions nailed down. But not sell him for silly money.

Oh sorry if I'd known he played on his own against Sunderland I wouldn't have said it..... single handed wow that's impressive ??.

The difference is CT has apologised and is running his ass off, MB looks like he couldn't care less.

I agree. The lad is young and certainly unpredictable but is very talented. He will learn. He has the likes of Yaya Toure and Patrick Vierra to guide him. Now if we are talking about selfish liability, I think maybe Tevez could come top of the list.
