What VAR decision will Utd get today?

A marginal disallowed goal for us and a questionable penalty for them lot.

the fact that despite the technology being available they still refuse to make the conversations between var and the ref readily available in real time and still dont require refs to explain the decisions they make shows everyone how corrupt it is

Here's another thing and I'm not saying it happens but when you see the still image of the offside with the graphics, any decent video edit software in 2023 could easily move a player back centimeters within seconds before they show it on TV.

You see the pundits in the studio use video software live in real time and they can select a player and move a player around the pitch to show their positioning etc. so there's absolutely nothing stopping people behind the scenes being able to edit a video/graphic so quickly and make it look like they're 15cm further back/forward.

It would be a piece of cake with technology available today. I'm not saying it happens but they could do that with complete ease if they wanted to. You could give me a still image of an offside and I could make it look onside in Photoshop within about 10 seconds, and that's pretty primitive compared to the technology they have

The fact they don't give any real transparency on the decisions they're making means anything is possible really.

If anybody thought they would bring technology into the game and use it with complete fairness then they're naive.

Probably the usual officiating we get Esp v them.

Last 3 games we had the Cup Final that was bordering on corruption, the infamous offside at theirs last year and even Oliver giving them the softest penalty you will ever see in the 6-3 at ours but it evens itself out right.

Every foul is a tackle for them and every tackle is a foul for us. Maguire to wrestle players at set pieces without penalty and no doubt Tierney will do his usual v us and let them foul with impunity and rush to book ours

For the first time ever it will be used to monitor the crowd and pick up some blues not being respectful to Bobby and then we will get castigated for it in the media

Scum penalty but it will be meaningless. We won't need to rely on any officials. Class will prevail.

They will discover some esoteric section of the Laws of the Game that nobody knew existed - it will be applied to us and then forgotten about, never to be applied again.

"Let's go to Peter Walton to figure this one out. Peter?"

"Yes, thanks Peter, so it is unusual but it is the correct decision. Haaland's goal is disallowed because goals scored by a Norwegian on the fifth Sunday of October, while the moon is in a phase of Waning Gibbous, only stand if the goalscorer then correctly cites the Christian prayer of Agnus Dei."

"Thank you, Peter. So there we go, by the letter of the law it appears the correct conclusion has been reached."
